Why it got dark at the Crucifixion

FYI: Six to nine would be from noon till 3:00 pm on our Babylonian time scale.

 

None of us are meteorologists or astronomers, so we don’t know HOW it got dark, we only know why it must be.

 

Even the inherited churches understand that the Passover lambs were symbolic of the Redeemer’s final and complete payment for sin.

For Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed. 1 Cor 5:7b

Lost to the inherited churches is understanding anything about Passover and those lambs. They so avoid all things “Jewish” that they can’t seem to read the whole Bible. Continue reading
