The Babylonian Church

There is the inherited church which has been contaminated by the Babylonian Mystery Religion, and then there is the Congregation of the Lord. A people struggling to remove all of Babylonian thought that has for centuries plagued the Church.

The Lord told us this was to happen in the symbolic book of The Revelation. The information is presented in a way that only those that studied the language of the prophets would ever figure out. It was meant to be hidden, it was meant to be a secret.

The great mystery of The Revelation is the woman. Everyone who reads the prophets knows that the woman comes in two-forms, the faithful wife and the unfaithful whore.

The faithful woman was given a little help to flee from Satan and escapes into the wilderness.

14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.  15 The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with the flood. Rev. 12:14-15

However the next time we see her she is a fully corrupted whore.

3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns.  4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and bedecked with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her fornication;  5 and on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of harlots and of earth’s abominations.”  6 And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. Rev. 17:3-6

The study of how this happened will be our long term search. We know from the epistles of the New Testament that the corruption had already begun in that first century. But from history we know that this whole scale corruption came into being at the time of Constantine. When he made Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire, He put an end to the persecution of Christians. Which at first glance seemed a good thing. But the repercussions were anything but good. As everybody who wanted to be somebody in Constantine’s government, chose conversion to Christianity.  Constantine even bribed people to convert. This brought all kinds of un-repented pagans into the church. Many of their practices and beliefs were renamed with Christian names to make them acceptable to the Christians.

Over the centuries it only got worse. After the fall of Rome the light of learning was taken from the Western World, which left people with superstition and unfounded beliefs. Just as The Revelation predicted we entered the Dark Ages.

When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, Rev. 6:12

No light of learning was even available, except in small isolated persecuted congregations. Then the light began to return with the Reformation. But the cleaning out of our temple was incomplete and the process started by them must be re-instituted with every generation. Our problem is that for every pagan idea or influenced we remove, there is always someone dragging another one in the back door.

Our struggle continues. For we are to present ourselves as a pure white bride for our king. Whatever comes from Babylon must go. To find what is of Babylon we must study Babylon in all her forms and in all her mysteries.

We will seek what is Babylon so we may put her back in her ephod and send her back to where she came from. [Zechariah 5:5-1]

Psalm 127

Oriental Procession A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon.

1 Unless the LORD builds the house,

those who build it labor in vain.

Unless the LORD watches over the city,

the watchman stays awake in vain.

2 It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest,

eating the bread of anxious toil;

for he gives to his beloved sleep.

3 Lo, sons are a heritage from the LORD,

the fruit of the womb a reward.

4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the sons of one’s youth.

5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them!

He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

Our first thoughts are of a literal house with wall and windows, however that is not the house we are building. We are building a spiritual house or mansions. In order to do this we must live a submissive life to the Lord, so that He can build a place for the Holy Spirit to live in our lives. For we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We may be raising physical children, who are blessing from the Lord, but we are also raising spiritual children fit for the Lord service? This was our charge.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matt. 28:19

Our spiritual children should be cared with the same care as physical children. They must be carefully taught all the things that the Lord requires of them. A teacher becomes responsible for the information imparted to the disciple. James admonished that not all should become teachers because of the great responsibility.[James 3:1] Yet we are still responsible to fill the Congregation of the Lord with more souls.

Presently the USA has left its Southern Border open and all manner of people are streaming in. Although this is politically disturbing in a time of war, as believers it is an opportunity to reach people we would never otherwise never meet.

As for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. Gen. 50:20

Time to fill the quiver with a few more souls, and shame the enemy while we are at it.

We are a Mo’ed

second templeIn the Mosaic economy the tabernacle was called the ‘ohel mo’ed “the tent of meeting.” It was the appointed place where one was to meet with God. The plural of the word is Mo’adim and usually refers to the appointed holy days or Festivals of the Bible. So the Mo’adim were kept at the Mo’ed.

Under the Kingdom economy we are now the tabernacle of David and the temple of the Holy Spirit.[Act 15:16; 1 Cor 16:9]

Each and every one of us is a mo’ed. The day of our salvation is an appointed time. Our lives as servants of the King are all mo’adim. Our lives have been appointed as the time and place were we are with the King, and as such our prayer is to be “Thy will be done.”
