In The Mystery Religions

Some details may get lost due to the way translators translate. One of those things is the Babylonian god Mene.

FYI: The mystery religions always teaches the same thing where ever they are found, it is always the same, everyone is worshiping the same pagan gods under different names.

The Last Judgment (detail) by Rogier van der Weyden

The weighing of ones soul by the moon is goes back in ancient Babylon. The god of weights and measure as well as of the moon is named Mini/Mene. Mini would weigh the soul of the deceased to decide the fate of the soul. This story is retold in many mythologies around the world, In Egypt it is Anubis who performs this task, in Greek mythology the Scales of justice are erected near Cerberus, in Romanism it is the Archangel Michael who has been given the balances of God’s justice.

The “weighing of the heart,” from the book of the dead of Hunefer. Anubis is portrayed as both guiding the deceased forward and manipulating the scales, under the scrutiny of the ibis-headed Thoth.

All these false conceptions has landed in the Congregation and must be swept out.

This is what the hand writing on the wall was about. It was God stating that not Mini but God Himself who decided the fates of men.

24   “Then from his presence the hand was sent, and this writing was inscribed.  25 And this is the writing that was inscribed: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, and PARSIN.  26 This is the interpretation of the matter: MENE, God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end;  27 TEKEL, you have been weighed in the balances and found wanting;  28 PERES, your kingdom is divided and

given to the Medes and Persians.” Dan. 5:24-28

As well as in Isaiah where Mini is translated as Destiny

But you who forsake the LORD, who forget my holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune and fill cups of mixed wine for Destiny;  Is. 65:11

FYI: There is a language connection between ancient Babylonian dialect that is called by scholars “Chaldee” with the ancient language of the Britons from which English is partly derived. “Fortune” in this Isaiah passage in the Hebrew is “Gad” or “God” from which we get our English word God. We didn’t have a word for Deity so the early translators used one of the ancient Druid god’s personal name to translated the Hebrew ELOHIM. In doing so they forever changed the English language.

Babylonian concepts are every where we look. This is why we are commanded to come out of Babylon.

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; Rev. 18:4

Psa. 1

1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

6 for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
